They also sell a motor repair mix in a caulking tube at the home centers that makes it quick and easy to fill in the occasional crack.

Rain x has an anti fog version, but I didn't find it that effective.  I've found if I just throw a couple handfuls of warm water on the mirror, it will stay clear long enough to shave.

I also have and love a Sleep Number bed.  One nice thing is not only can you adjust the pressure when it is no longer comfortable, you can change the topping on the air chambers.  Depending on the mod...

Is it possible this could be an electrolysis issue?  Perhaps there's voltage leaking from something that's grounded to the water pipes.  Just a thought.
