I've used the 16-32 for a very long time (15-20 years?) I love it. I finally replaced it with the 19-38. Wow what a difference! Hard for me to believe any drum sander performing better. No hassles...

If the wall had drywall over the studs then there's the 1/2" or 5/8" plus the thickness of the rack (3/4"?). With 2 1/2" screws, you will only have a half in [br]C of screws holding up the whole thing...

I find that sometimes Amazon won't ship it, then I try again and they do. I've had the same experience with some other suppliers. Just keep ordering it online till it takes.

If you want your Purpleheart deck to turn grey, stop sanding it. It will turn grey on its own in no time at all. I am unaware of any product that will protect your deck in Florida better than paint....
