Not as portable as plate glass, but reliably flat. |

Two 25" levels (which double as straigtedges, winding sticks and marking templates)

The file will ride on the 'corners' at the bottom, so the gullet will approach a triangular profile after a pass.
You're dealing with VERY small areas, here.

I purchased this for its resaw capacity and found a local mill (with their enourmous Crescent bandsaw) to do the work.
A saw like this deserves to be more used. |

I highly recommend the coarsest Atoma for establishing a basic edge, straightening or cambering but use two Arkansas oil stones before stropping.
