The "divider" is more of a blade rest, so the handles will sit lower than the blades do...

On the #80...the thumbscrew in the center....is to bow the iron, the same as when you bow a cabinet scraper.... It also helps with depth adjustments... So..I am just wondering HOW a thicker iron...

Even with a 10% discount... That Stanley 2-3/8" iron was $12..but.. Was $90 + tax!  Union No. 41...from BEFORE Stanley ground off the "UNION" labels... Has both 5/16" cutters. Asking price...

Clamps came back off this morning...back was cleaned up... Then both ends, and then the front... Then the top edges were leveled....then the bottom of the drawer was leveled.. Then a test fit...

Bad night, last night...legs were cramped up badly at 0400 in the morning.:upset:..took until almost 0430 to get the to release enough that I could get back to sleep...then was woken back up at 0800.....

Dovetail 101, pins first as usual.. Remember to knife the lines.. A bit of handsaw work.. The chop half way down on the show side... Might as well use one of the chisels to build it's new ...
