I always considered the top-level term to be sharpening. Grinding, honing, polishing, buffing, stropping, all make things sharper, therefore, sharpening, is the inclusive term.

Honestly, you probably want a different arbor. IIRC, the shopsmith branded blades have a 1" or 7/8" or other goofy arbor for a 10" blade.[br][br]You can get a standard 5/8" arbor pretty cheap on eBay... |
