Wife asked me to build a baby's book rack similar to this one for our niece's baby shower.
In the FINISHING forum last week I asked for advice on painting it. Thank goodness she decided she liked BLO/Poly better.
(Note: It really pays to make up a sample board and show them how beautiful straight-grain douglas fir is.)
I don't know the dimensions of the one that inspired the project, but I'm sure mine is a bit smaller. At only 17" high and 24" long, it is designed to sit right next to Mama's chair to make choosing a book for baby quick and easy.
Thanks,
Mike
