First project of 2016 ... made a couple of simple bench hooks. Used 3/4 inch oak. Finished with BLO. Bottoms same as top view ... flip them 180* and get same saw cutting guide. Will add miter saw cut next time I need to hand-cut a miter. Included my favorite old 10 inch Disston backsaw for size perspective.

Very nice. That oak will last a good, long time.

I don't know what I did before I built my bench hooks. I use them all the time.
