Go here: https://postimages.org and follow the prompts. Select Hotlink for Forums, copy and paste in your post. Works great. Easy.

I hear you, brother.  Since Photobucket bent us over and took away photo hosting, I almost never post photos on line.  I have noticed a major decline in photo-accompanied posts in the various special interest forums I frequent, which ultimately weakens the entire forum's viability (less postings=less viewer clicks=less ad revenue).  I am probably missing something, but I can't find a hosting site that  offers whatever format is correct for placing photos easily into internet forum formats.  Photobucket had a pre-select for message board format, including photo size options.  I don't see those options from other hosting services.

Flickr can do that.  Depending on the original size, you get something like 6 or 8 options.

I think Danny was saying - why bother using a hosting site.  Upload them to the forum and attach (insert them into the post)  It is very easy to do as long as the photo isnt too large - maximum size for uploading is 1000 kilobytes

Other than that it is very simple to insert photos into posts
