Every year Lee Valley introduces a "new" tool today
Here is this year's

Actually a couple times it turned into a real tool
Making sawdust mostly, sometimes I get something else, but that's more accident then design.

You can search the site for the previous 12 (I think, not including this year) "tools".

Very entertaining and I look forward to it every year.
...Naval Aviators, that had balz made of brass and the size of bowling balls, getting shot off the deck at night, in heavy seas, hoping that when they leave the deck that the ship is pointed towards the sky and not the water.
