Still rasping away
#5
Still trying to catch up with every thing.
Just a couple of almost finished saws and such.
Madrone Burl, 14" x 3.5" x 0.025". 11ppi rip
2nd is a Mahogany Classic series closed dovetail, 38* hang, 12"x 2" canted, x 0.020" plate. 18 ppi rip Sorry about the scratches. Needs another coat of finish.
Lastly: a scribe and burnisher set in white and black ebony. The burnisher is carbide and the scribe is M42 HSS, RC66 to 68.

As always, spinning the hamster wheel, going no where fast.

Beautiful saws--I almost hate to add "as usual." But yes, beautiful work as usual.

The coloring on the ebony came out really nicely.

Amazing saws.  Not only beautiful but so practical.  Heirlooms for sure.   Depending on the blank, the Black and White Ebony produces a striking pattern.    I use it for cheese knife handles and bottle stoppers.  Folks love it.
