Every time you buy one smash another finger. People will know you are in trouble when the messages come through to the forum garbled.

Now, I am concerned about that shoulder. I too suffer pain, but the only help is to use a block plane held in one hand and pull a softwood, like western cedar or soft pine, with the other hand. The big advantage with that technique is you can sit in a comfortable chair, in the shade. No bench necessary. I make a lot of toothpicks.

I wouldn't say you have a problem.  More like a good start.

If you are going down a river at 2 mph and your canoe loses a wheel, how much pancake mix would you need to shingle your roof?

Newbie. Move them closer together and you'll have some babies shortly.

Can someone define strange?

If you're on this forum, here are the major points of normal:
1. Checking for sale list on WN at least twice a day
2. Checking "first Monday" sale items on "Old Tools" list EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK
3. Checking Josh Clark's website for new listings everyday
4. Getting night sweats the night before Patrick Leach posts his monthly for sale
5. Checking Martin's listings, reading EVERY auction listing
6. Stealthfully sneaking into the Patina gatherings, so as to not be noticed by others stealthfully sneaking in
7. Checking all Fine Tool Sale auction listings and not missing their tool sales

When are you in trouble? When you wake one fine morning, not remembering day or days before, and wondering why you're in this van down by the river.
