Good idea putting the year on it! We all wish antique tools came with date stamps, I know. Somebody down the line is going to be really happy that you thought of that.

2097 in some wood-lazing forum they will argue that isn't the make date, but..............

Bump for Ron...
...Naval Aviators, that had balz made of brass and the size of bowling balls, getting shot off the deck at night, in heavy seas, hoping that when they leave the deck that the ship is pointed towards the sky and not the water.
