A saw for me
#11
HI woodnetter,

since Klaus is back in handlemaking, one of our goals is to make saws for us, too. You nerver know what happens, and we don't want to be the last woodworker witrhout TLT Saws.

So this is a fine joinery saw. Ebony handle, german silver spine, mother of pearl inlay o top and on the screw heads.

Cheers

Wow!

Beautiful, as usual.
...Naval Aviators, that had balz made of brass and the size of bowling balls, getting shot off the deck at night, in heavy seas, hoping that when they leave the deck that the ship is pointed towards the sky and not the water.

Pedder,

I'm on the fence. My inner woodworker says, terrific job, now go cut a thousand joints. On the other hand, my inner appreciator of beauty says, terrific job, now build a glass-sided display case for it. Show it off like a museum piece and don't cut a single kerf.

Seriously, that is one elegant piece of utilitarian art. I love the clean lines. Gorgeous as usual.
Best,
Aram, always learning

Super great and wonderful, whichever comes first...

Are you going to use it on your violin?...

Your saw shares quite a few features with my bow(s)... Ebony frogs... MOP inlays... German Silver fittings.... Just wondering..

That is a very nice saw you guys made.

I know someday when I get the money I want to get a saw from you too but have it personalized with something I will send to you to put into the handle.

Maybe you can offer the service to others as well to personalize their saws to them.

I also want to thank both of you for being part of the WoodNet and showing us the saws you make and sharing your lives with us too.

Pedder,
that saw looks absolutely elegant! The plate/back dimensions are perfection in my opinion and the lines of the handle just add to it.

Elegant.

That belongs in a museum or gallery, not a workshop. Extraordinary piece of work. Thank you for showing it.
