Newest Shadow Box for a Navy Vet
#6
This is my latest creation just about finished. I am waiting on the brass engraved with his name and commands and sailors creed. Walnut and Curly Maple with coated with 5 coats Polyurethane. I will be also making two flag boxes from the same wood and same with the same look. " /> [image]http://[URL=http://s34.photobucket.com/user/dogschef/media/IMG_1828_1.jpg.html]" />

Very nice!
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.

That looks nice.

When I make mine I want something like a double triangle the upper part for the flag like \/ and the lower smaller /\ but just underneath it all on a nice flat rectangle 3x3x16 to mount the brass plaque on.

It is always the right time, to do the right thing.
