Truing a 6" felt Buffing Wheel
#5
Whats the best way/tool to use to true up the wheel --- or should I even worry about it?

I mounted the wheel yesterday, first time in years, on the high speed grinder. While applying a fresh coat of green oxide wax, I noticed the wheel was out of round, maybe 1/16" in places. Plan to use the wheel to hone chisels and a turning skew.

Recommendations please.

Wouldn't a sixteenth be within the "squish factor" for buffing??

Yea, I don't think any of mine are what I would call perfectly round..
