Why a Stronghold with such a small spindle size? That spindle size usually is part of a smaller lathe. A Oneway Talon is a smaller chuck and handles up to 16" swing. The Stronghold is for lathes with 16" or greater swing. You don't want to put on more chuck than you need.

Thanks Alan, you may be right. I have a talon might be better off buying a larger set of jaws for it. Thanks for the input.
