I know this is probably a shot in the dark, but figured i'd try. Does anyone have any idea what color stain was used on a Cushman Colonial footstool? A neighbor asked if could "fix" one for her. The finish on the flat stool part is damaged and needs refinished. The legs are in good shape and would be a lot easier to just refinish the flat top, if I can get a close match on the color of stain. The stool itself is a Cushman Colonial Bennington Vt #9038. Apparently the company was pretty popular in the early 1900's but has gone out of business. Any leads would be appreciated, thanks.
