Everbuild 502 adhesive
#3
I was watching a documentary on the way Morgan automobiles were constructed. Basically mostly with rudimentary tools like a press brake for the aluminum chassis, and a special router for the ash frame.

They did make a point of using a “special high strength adhesive” for the ash. A glimpse of the applicator bottle gave the clue of “502”. A quick Google search resulted in Everbuild 502 All Purpose Adhesive.

Any idea what makes this stuff special? You can get it on Amazon.com

The technical data sheet looked like it could be a PVA glue like Titebond, so I searched for that with everbuild, and found this. It sounds roughly equivalent to Titebond 2.
