A Kanna Revival

Just some fun today....

I was making a very fast Sassafras organizer for my desk.   For this, butt-joints and brads were fine.

The Kanna is probably my best endgrain plane:

Then the box was cleaned up and oiled:

And, believe it or not, this is now the most organized my home desk has been in years:
