Anyone care to speculate on the maker and country of origin of this gorgeous little hack saw? It takes an oddball 7" long blade.
It has no markings anywhere, but has an elegance that spoke to me.

I'm wondering if that might be a medical saw. It seems rather well finished for a journeyman's tool.

Either way, it's a nice looking, well executed tool. Relic of a bygone era for sure.

I have no idea but it is a neat looking saw, and I could see that as a Surgeon's saw.

Ten bucks says it's English, but I can't come up with a maker...
