Not true.  The new software keeps posts forever.  Anything that was older than a year from the previous software is lost forever.  There is going to be a learning curve for me.  Took me a couple of times to figure out how to reply with a quote.

Always a learning curve with new software.  I go through this all the time at work, and it all gets familiar pretty quickly.

I made a test reply to the "Underhill lathe" thread last evening 7/18. I was going to delete it right away, but I still haven't found it. It shows up on the hand tools page but not in the thread. Last evening Tony Z made a reply to the German silver thread which does not show up either.
