HANDTOOLS: Pair of #39 Dado Planes; Stanley 02-210 Brace
#7
Some very worthy tools up for sale, not often found . . . .

First up are two Stanley #39 skewed dado planes in nice condition, 1/4" and 1/2", sold as a pair; unusual because these are complete, these are usually missing the nickers, or the iron, or the depth stop, I've seen and passed on many of these, but this pair are complete, all original and all there; both have evidence of rust on the unjappanned side, but nothing to be all that concerned about, plenty of life in the irons, just a pair of very nice users for the shop; sold as a pair, uncommon sizes, they can both be yours for $165 shipped to the US; pics:

Next up is a quite unusual 10" Stanley brace; this is marked "02-210" and is unusual because it has the normal #923 body (ball bearing top knob, enclosed ratchet, quality brace) but has the ball bearing chuck normally found on the Bell System 2101; I've honestly never seen this model, and I can't find it in any of the catalogs I have; I think the "210" is the reference to the 2101 chuck; anyway, this is in great condition, and with this model you get the best part of the 2101, the chuck; it all works as it should and smoothly to boot.  Yours for $35 plus shipping, very nice brace...... pics:

First PM with an unequivocal "I'll take it" gets priority, and include your shipping address so I can print shipping labels and quote postage for the brace; payment by USPS money order please, I don't have paypal, but if I know you a check is ok.

You don't see many #39s come up, complete at that, so if you have a hankering for them pull the trigger as I suspect they won't last too long....

Again, quality tools I would be proud to own, priced to sell for use in the shop.  Thanks to all for looking.
