Replacement windows by Anderson
#26
We dealt with Renewal by Anderson and the installers were Anderson employees. When we had the Marvin windows installed, the hired subs who made a number of mistakes.

It sounds like you bought your windows from Franchises (Anderson and Marvin), they often do have their own installers. But, you can buy them just about anywhere. I've sold Anderson, Pella, Marvin, MW, Mi, Survivor (now defunct), Owens Corning and several others. I sold them all from the same desk at the same time. I liked different things about different brands. I love Pella sliding doors and really like Anderson Casements and Marvin Double Hungs... They all have their good points. We used subs for installations (we had some real good ones) and we also sold to contractors and home owners.

I came to a stop sign and a skanky tweaker chick in a tube top climbed out of the brush and propositioned me.  She looked like she didn't have any teeth so I counted that as a plus.

Snipe. H., your operation sounds like where we bought our Marvin windows. I'll never forget, we had a double casement installed and I noticed the two window frames weren't even. The installer couldn't understand why I wanted the frames even??. We didn't have huge problems, but the Anderson installers were great.

I will say I like Andersons composite material more than vinyl.

The operation was the millwork desk at Lowes.

This would be new building type windows.  For replacement windows (insert), Andersen has their own installers do the work.

To install new windows, you'd have to pull back siding and get down to the rough opening.
