So long, Gallery M
#2
Sad
I talked to Andreas, the owner, about this last year. so  I was expecting it. Still, so sad to see it happen! There was some high-end craftsmanship in there, pieces by former Krenov students, the occasional piece that had been featured in Fine Woodworking.

Gallery M

Here's the email from Andreas by way of someone else (not sure who), for anyone who is interested.

Andreas Strieve, owner of Gallery M asked me to contact all our artists.

Gallery M will close the end of February 2017.  We are contacting our artists to let everyone know that they need to pick up all remaining merchandise from the Gallery between the last week of January and the first week of February, 2017. If that is not possible, please let us know in advance to make different arrangements. We are of course, flexible with the pickup times but please note that window will be gone after February 28. We very much appreciate the years of support by all our artists. Thank you for the many years of support. But it is time for Gallery M to close its doors. The lease is coming to an end of February 2017, and closing the gallery at that point is a necessary business decision. May you have continued success in the future.

Sincerely,

Andreas P. Strieve

Another lost treasure.
