Tool Chest find yesterday
#11
Look what I found on my local Craigslist. Was just checking, as I do, in case
something "popped up" that I might be interested in.

Was listed as a 'wooden tool box." I have looked at enough of them online
to be pretty sure that it was what I thought.

The guy turned out to live a very short drive, like a few blocks, away. He
had listed it about forty five minutes before I spotted it, and answered the
text message quickly.

Sometimes the stars align just right. I was the first one there with the cash.
And so, without further teasing, my tool chest find:

It is a model 052 , near as I can figure. More research needed. And a general cleanup overall.
Has one lifted area on the top, a so so refelt job in the till and needs the metal stuff cleaned
up some.

    and the real gloat part:

I bet your wallet was smoking from the speed with which it left your pocket.  That is clean!

Really nice find. You don't see them around here for under $200 bucks.

As I go back and look at it, the ray patterns on the left and right of the front panel aren't matched - you got taken!  I'll give you the $20 Jim Reed suggests to take it off your hands

This is dangerous firewood, known to self-ignite, very sensitive and could be life threatening.

Send it to me immediately for proper disposal.

Oh, and you suck.

Looks like a Harbor Freight Special. But even at that, a good score!
