Need a chisel made
#5
Shop made Goose neck chisel?

Found an old Drum Brake adjuster....and a screwdriver handle...hmmmm..spend a while at the grinder, and beltsander.....
Refine the one end into a chisel edge....curved, of course.    Regrind the other curved end into a tang for the handle to fit onto.
Had to "adjust" the handle a bit, for a better fit....results?

No... I did NOT burn the steel.   It is a shadow.  Rotate..

On the outside of the curve is the beveled edge( a Bevel Down tool
Rolleyes )

So, now I can reach into a mortise, and clean the bottom out of all the chips down there.   I had the narrow this down to 1/4"  so I could use it  in more than one size mortise.

Not too hateful? Price was right...

Idea was a result of watching Paul Sellers transform a "Bottle opener"( Church key)  into a mortise clean out  tool.     I really need the bottle opener for my beer,  I no longer need a drum brake adjuster.    And this was easier to add a handle to.    Price was right,  as well.
Cool
