I use the 8 and 10 cutters the most. I like the extra depth.

My friend was the best at bashing Festool tools of anyone I have ever seen.  I recently loaned him both my Domino machines.  Within a day he was singing their praises.

Nice.  Got almost all my Festools from CL when they weren't as well known in US.  Deals harder to come by now that they're more popular though so you got a great deal. 

I would try it just using the center line mark on the machine.  I have the RTS guides and don't even bother using them.

I purchased my first biscuit joiner in the mid 1980's ... purchased my Domino over 3 years ago haven't touched my biscuit joiner since.
