Dave, that is some smart marketing! Now I'm not only impressed with your work, but with your business sense as well.

I will echo what Dave said about finding a good place to show your work. It may take a while, but you want a regular venue (and "regular" can be anything from monthly to annually) patronized by your target market. I also sell some of my work (on a MUCH smaller scale than you guys are doing), and it took me a while to find the right venue and the right timing. For me, it's a local craft/art show every other month. It also took me a while to figure out what was most likely to sell at what price, but now I know about what I'll sell at any given show now.

It's all about getting your product in front of the right people.
