Need some help with routing a bullnose on a deck railing

Is it feasible to remove the rails? If so then a window stool cutter is perfect to make the handrails. Each edge is passed thru a router table or better yet  a shaper. The profile is exactly the same as an interior handrail.
Don't try this method with a handheld router, the cutter is too large. I do this in two passes per side.

Yeah with the rails mounted you'll have a time trying to route the bottom of the rail, but if he just wants hand comfort, all you need is the top portion.
