Another hide glue question

Oh and something I've seen in pictures but never tried was using one of the small 4-cup coffee makers as the heater. Picture had a standard size soup can resting on the heater plate. Looks like it should work but obviously test temp range. And maybe do something so you can grab the metal can without finger pain.

Again, Don Williams has several photos on his web page using different rigs. Baby bottle warmer, coffee cup warming plate, small "fondue" size crock pots, etc. for warming glue.

Full size coffee makers are pretty common at the donation stores as are old crock-pots as mentioned above.
