I'd kinda like to keep glue drips and general dirt off it if possible.

Thansk

I used what Lie-Nielsen uses on their benches: 1 part BLO, 1 part Spar Varnish, 1 part mineral spirits. Works fine and is easily renewable.

I could use a second bench in the new shop. Looks like y'all used the same set of plans. Mind if I ask where you got em?

I got the plans from Benchcrafted, the same place I ordered the vise hardware from.

Thanks to you both, I have marked the link and saved it.
I may make that a spring project, or one for next summer.  Yes
Depends on my health over the next few months.  Wink

Thumbs Up    Re: Workbench Build by Large Wooden Badger ([attachment=4959] ...)
You forgot to put a bank of drawers in the big hole in the middle.  Good for tools, and if configured correctly, candy bars (if someone in your house is nagging you about that sweet tooth). Wink

Seriously--that's a fabulous bench.  I love the dovetails--did you stand on a ladder to do those, or are you  8 1/2 feet tall?  Wink Wink
