I have lost my local sharpener. I was thinking of trying Dynamic Saw Inc. out of Buffalo, NY. Folks here seem to like them.
Suggestions on packing and mailing? Figure to send 2-3 10" TS blades.
I have always hand delivered them.

Dynamic does great work. I always hit up all my friends and coworkers and we fill a large flat rate box with blades and bits. That way round trip shipping averages less than a buck per item. Keeping the shipping costs low really makes it a much better value.

I have a few used Diablo blades I've pretty much worn down to a frazzle and they're no longer flat. I read somewhere that the blades with the little squiggly lines cannot be flattened and become pretty much throw away blades once dull. I don't know how much truth there is to that, but if there's a significant wobble to a blade that can't be flattened it wouldn't seem to make much sense in having it sharpened.

Dynamic Saw does great work at very reasonable prices. I doubt you will be disappointed.

My local contractor's equipment vendor sends my blades out. He gets his cut, but it remains competitive. I don't know what vendor he uses. No freight charges.
I would check with your local vendors to see if they offer the sharpening services.

Whatever happened to longtime member Scott, who ran a sharpening service out of Arizona?
Here, I found this:

That is the Scott gent I'm speaking of.
One of these days I'm going to send him about 10-12 blades. His prices are very reasonable and everyone here that has used his services, has said they got great results.

RKO in Cullum Illinos. Excellent. And, interestingly, they laser cut the customer's name into the blade.
