Reverse Turning Experiment

Now that I know the technique, a design like this would be awesome with maple for the ball section and walnut or ebony or such for the ends.

I should have turned the initial hollow a bit deeper, but I was not quite sure what the procedure was so I held back a bit. 

But it is fun, easy, and the entire process took about an hour not including the 20 minutes for glue to dry with each step.

I have not had the time to make one or teach doing one yet but this coming year will be better I hope.
As of this time I am not teaching vets to turn. Also please do not send any items to me without prior notification.  Thank You Everyone.
