MM... that's an excellent point. 'art' generally sells for more than utility. If you can make it artsy, it will almost always fetch more. The downside is of course there are more folks out there wanting utility than art.

I think that you could go more for those if you sold them as a set of salad bowls rather than individually

Here in Hawaii, if they would have been made of local woods, they go for around $90 to $110. Koa would go for $150. A big name turner could get $200 for a 5” bowl.
Of course the market’s a lot different here.
