Storm door frosting up
#6
Helping an older couple out. The inside of the full view storm door is frosting up- a lot! The bottom of the storm was not making a good seal. I lowered it recently. The sweep does not extend all the way to the ends. Still frosting up
The inside door seems to be closing nice and tight

I plan on adding a well sealing sweep on the indie of the storm, but wonder if it will be enough?

It is back in the low teens here today.

The door is under a large overhang, and faces west

The sweep on the bottom of the entry door is not sealing.

Agreed the main entry door is leaking warm air from the house to the storm door.   While the storm door may be leaking air that is not causing the frost on the storm door.   Somewhere warm moist air from the house is getting to it.   If you leave the main door open for several minutes that will cause it also.  Roly

I came to a stop sign and a skanky tweaker chick in a tube top climbed out of the brush and propositioned me.  She looked like she didn't have any teeth so I counted that as a plus.
