Converted 6 8’ dual bulb fluorescent lights to LED tubes.
Only have 1 tube per fixture right now and it seems as bright or brighter than before:

Did that break the bank doing that Gary?

I have 18-20 T-8's and 6 or so T-12 round pins I'll have to do someday, after the worlds supply of bulbs run out.

The Revos apparently are designed to clamp railroad ties and pull together horrifically prepared joints

The tubes were on sale from GreenTec

The 6 tubes were about $100.
No more humming ballast noise!

Now I just have to figure out what to do with the 12+ lamps I have and will never use.

Sell those bulbs to Amazon then they can ship em to me. I've had a case of 15 ordered for months. Canceled once, then ordered again.

I realized this weekend that I need to build a proper assembly table...one that is bigger. I quickly ended up on the floor.

The sag you see is a design flaw; no support is called for. I added one after this pic; no more sagging!

At least you ended up on the floor voluntarily. I knocked a FINISHED veneered MDF door of my bench onto the floor last night. I don’t think I can salvage it either.

Out-feed/assembly table. Yes, build em big if you have the room.
Mine is about 40" wide and 7' long. I don't assemble much on it but if need be.....
