WTB: restorable backsaws
#4
A beginning woodworker friend of mine wants to buy an older backsaw for cutting tenons and what not. Unfortunately, I am fresh out and currently unable to help him with his quest.

Does anyone have a vintage 12-14 inch backsaw with 13-14 ppi teeth that they would be willing to sell me? Condition and tooth profile are not important as long as the saw is restorable. I think he wants something that was made in the US (Disston, Atkins, Simonds, etc.), but would likely consider an English saw as well.

Please PM me with the details.

Thanks for your help.
