Evidently they have been selling this saw for over a decade.

Apparently the saw continues to run even after releasing the trigger.

Thumbs Up
Thanks JP ... looks like I'll be getting a new one ...Whoopee . Hopefully this one doesn't leak oil once your done with it .  I had the red one . I use it to cut up in trees , and small limbs . It also would run off my inverter in the work truck 9 amps I think . 1500 watt would run it easy . My son just told me the last time he used it , it would not shut off ha ha ha .

If it can't kill you it probably ain't no good. Better living through chemicals.

My snow blower would not stop when I released the deadman's handles.  I can tell you that it is very unnerving to find that happen.

Somehow, the last place I would buy a chainsaw would be HF.  Stihl is my go to.

Question is was it any good?

Reminds me I sold 4 chainsaws I had. A couple poulan pros an old husky and another I forget what it was. All needed more in parts than they were worth. But I have 3 oak trees to cut down then Im done with the saw for quite a while. One is tiny as in i could cut it with a hand saw the other are only 14" ish diameter and I am really looking at some sort of electric/cordless saw this time. Not in a hurry to get the job done and a dead battery is a good time for a break....  Been looking at a few of the cordless ones as most likely it'll do for me.

Guess they didn't disclose the "auto run" feature

I know I would not want it to run after I left off the trigger, but how hard is it to unplug it afterwards?
As of this time I am not teaching vets to turn. Also please do not send any items to me without prior notification.  Thank You Everyone.

It is always the right time, to do the right thing.

Yeah course allot of the chainsaws on the market now have horribly adjusted carbs and rarely run. So at least this one works when you pull the trigger.
