I think your sharpener didn't do it correctly. I've had a few teeth replaced on my set and never had a problem. Really no different than having a tooth replaced on a regular saw blade.
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.

somebody brazed the teeth on there in the first place, so I don't see why you wouldn't get one replaced. Okay, maybe they are furnace brazed in a fixture at the factory, but it still can be screwed up if someone isn't paying attention. Just have to find someone that knows what they are doing.  Best to let the sharpener know they have someone that doesn't if they haven't figured it out already.  I think you can tell just by looking at it though.
