Tools for sale, mostly hand tools

Time to thin the herd of various things I rarely/never use, or really don't need.

Prices listed do not include shipping.  Shipping will be from 77007.  I have the rough weight of the item in the listing, so add a pound for packaging, and that should give you an idea of what shipping will cost (planning on using USPS).  Once you say I'll take it I will pick a box, pack it, and can give you a shipping cost.  But there are enough things here that I don't want to take the time to prepack everything, and then be opening stuff up and repacking if people want multiple things.  There is enough here it might take multiple posts.  Also, I haven't been keeping up with prices, so some of these could be crazy.  Feel free to let me know I'm nuts.

We will start with planes and related.

LV Left Hand Skew Rabbet Plane.  Barely, if ever, been used.  $190, weighs roughly 3.5 pounds

SOLD Stanley 192.  Missing several parts (like the depth stop.  And the tightening screw is obviously not original.  At least I hope). SOLD $8 plus shipping, weighs roughly 1.75 pounds

SOLD Beater block plane.  Modern POS, except I did all the flatten sole, tune it, etc. so it works.  But is still isn't in the same league as LV/LN.  But if you want a beater block that works way better than just buying one at the store here ya go.  SOLD $2 plus shipping, weighs roughly 1.5 pounds

Hot Dog attachment for LV Bevel Up Jack.  Made by Derek Cohen.  Works well, but I now have a shooting plane so I don't need it anymore.  $50 + shipping, weighs about a 0.25 pounds.

SOLD LV Beading Tool.  I practically never use this, so no point in keeping it.  Great shape.  SOLD $45 plus shipping, weighs a little over 2 pounds

SOLD 3/8" Ashley Iles American Pattern Bevel Edge chisel.  Good shape, back has been flattened.  SOLD $20 plus shipping, weighs about 0.25 pounds

1/2" Stanley 720.  Good shape, back has been flattened.  $25 plus shipping, weighs about 0.25 pounds

SOLD  1/4" Union Manufacturing chisel.  Good shape, back has been flattened.  SOLD  $15 plus shipping, weighs about 0.25 pounds.

SOLD Not sure what to call this.  It is kinda like a skew chisel, except it is beveled on both sides, so more like a knife.  Helpful for getting into tight corners when you need to slice just a bit more off.  SOLD $3 plus shipping, weighs about 2 ounces.

Build a Dutch Tool Chest DVD.  $22 plus shipping, weighs about 3 ounces.
[attachment=15768]

SOLD Making Things Work.  SOLD $10 plus shipping, weighs almost a pound.
[attachment=15769]

SOLD Laser tape measure.  Given to me by someone.  And rarely used.  SOLD $1 plus shipping, weighs about 6oz.
[attachment=15770]

And last of all an 8" slow speed grinder.  $40. I'm not shipping this, you will need to come pick this up (I live in central Houston).  I'm 99% sure I put one of the Norton 3X wheels on the left side.  I also took a wing nut and added a handle to it to make it easier to adjust the tool rest, which I also flattened.  There is some rust on the tool rest, but should be easy to remove.  Only reason I'm getting rid of this is I upgraded to a 6" grinder.
