Fine Woodworking
#8
I am new to this site and was wondering if any one wood be interested in buying 5 issues of Fine Woodworking magazine for $15 plus shipping. I have a lot of them all in excellent condition. Will ship Media. I am located in New Hampshire  I really have no idea what I am doing on this site as I am not very good with computers. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

It would help to know which issues.
...Naval Aviators, that had balz made of brass and the size of bowling balls, getting shot off the deck at night, in heavy seas, hoping that when they leave the deck that the ship is pointed towards the sky and not the water.

Didn't we have this topic a few weeks ago about how you can't ship woodworking magazines via media mail due to the advertising?

I apologize I have been corrected and I will not be able to ship media mail. I will have to look into the least expensive shipping.

I have so many issues that I was just going to put 5 magazines together and ship them. I must have over 200 issues.

OK, no one is going to want to buy random issues unless they don't have any at all.

Most people that buy these are looking for specific issues so they can fill gaps in their collection.

A set of FWW used to be worth pretty good money. The price seems to have gone down now that folks can buy a CD with all the issues in one place, and that said CD is almost always on sale for 20% off.

Not trying to burst your bubble, just trying to give you some useful information.

Thanks everybody for all the information. I think I will just donate the magazines some place.

Send them to Arlin. I sent a bunch of mine, he appreciates them for the Vets.
I no longer build museums but don't want to change my name. My new job is a lot less stressful. Life is much better.
