I was just reading a report on labor shortages in the Northeast; New England has a real problem as the prime working age people are dropping as a percentage of the population; the US is graying..... and retiring.

Interesting graphic. Went on a plant tour this past winter, saw one helluva shop full of of power tools including an awesome collection of 8, 12 and 16" jointers but nary a #7 to be seen.
