Hey Brad, that sure looks like a Morse Taper (2 or 3 - hard to tell from picture). May want t verify it is straight shaft with some calipers. Typically Straight shafts would not have the tang on the end either. Just in case someone would expect a straight shank.


Glad its my shop I am responsible for - I only have to make me happy.

Mike. I thought the same thing when I bought this back in the day. It is 100% a 1/2” straight shank- double checked with my mic. It is not a MT 1 or 2.
