Recommend a jigsaw
#23
Have two (don't remember models): first is a Makita handled jigsaw, bought 25 years ago, and a real workhorse, though maybe a bit clumsy. Second is a Festool barrel, cost about $200 to $250 about five years ago. I like its accuracy whn used exactly per instructions-which means it is not intuitive! Do not like the Festool blades at all-Bosch much better.

Bosch. Full stop.

I, and many pros, believe the Bosch jigsaw to be in a different class of tool over all other jig saws.

Even the Festool, which I have used professionally, cannot match my Bosch.

Theyjust cut quicker and straighter.
