Pete recalled building the saw as it had distinctive curly maple. I think that he remembers every one of his children. Recently, he sent me an email when I posted this picture ... he could recognise the saw from this detail!

Trout Victor bought one for me from BadAxe and it looks as good as this.
It is always the right time, to do the right thing.

Agree: enough saw makers have gone out of business over the last 20 years or so: nice to see one make a comeback.
