Restored a Stanley N0. 25
#2
Here's a Stanley No. 25 I recently restored. It was pretty much trashed when I got it. With the lack of a real chip breaker; I was surprised at the quality of the cut it takes. I was very badly pitted so I soaked it in vinegar for two days. They are made from pretty poor grade pot metal so it was a challenge to finish.
