Jet Planer questions

I would plane in 1/3rd turn increments.  The handwheel had a three spoke design, so that I could attach the bungie hook on three different locations.

That is sort of funny to me, since I did a similar thing with the ridgid planer this one replaced.  All was fine, with the bungee in place, a bit of a PITA, but once I was used to it, it was no big deal.

Doesn't that Jet planner have cutter head or table locks?
I long for the days when Coke was a soft drink, and Black and Decker was a quality tool.
