Yup...definitely looking forward to having a helper/apprentice once in a while.
I have to make sure I don’t set my expectations too high in that regard, though...Looking back, I see that while I valued the time I spent with my grandfathers building/making/doing (and I’m pretty sure they saw that), it wasn’t until after they’d passed away that I began to see the value in the actual skills in making and problem solving that they taught.
