Finally got back into the shop  (August was spent on outdoor pursuits). Drawers are glued up and mostly fitted. Soon, on to the doors.

Outstanding! I've been waiting for an update. The dovetails are beautiful, and the drawer fit on all of them is superb.

Well done!!!
...Naval Aviators, that had balz made of brass and the size of bowling balls, getting shot off the deck at night, in heavy seas, hoping that when they leave the deck that the ship is pointed towards the sky and not the water.

On to the doors. I found some nice quarter-sawn stock for the stiles/rails, and a nice piece of curly cherry for the door panels. They have been rough milled, and sitting patiently waiting for final milling and joinery.
I did want to mention that I have come up with a new use for blue tape: I like to call it the "Blue Tape Drawer Pull Trick".  Its much too complicated to explain here, but I will be posting a multi-page thesis on this new blue tape application at some point in the future Smile

Cut the rough stock for the top this morning: single piece 19" wide. Getting close.........
