Before, and After

The "Before"..
Uhoh

3 ugly chisels, plus one that was rehabbed long ago.
Handle were ugly, edges were too...so..

The "After"
Winkgrin

3 handles were redone, blades cleaned up, lands reduced, edges sharpened and hone to 20 degrees  and then the cloth wheel to polish it up..

There was also a four-in-hand that came with those 3 chisels...the before..

Rust and crud stuck in all the wrong spots...so..
 The After.
.

And a pocket knife too...
Show me a picture, I'll build a project from that

Decided it was time to clean off the bench...
Rolleyes

Toolwell was over-flowing across the bench..
No

So....made a bit of progress today..

A stash of pencils was even found..
Winkgrin

Even a couple more chisels...

The Beater Brigade?   or just Brother from different...
Winkgrin

So, where did all them toys go?

why into the Toy Box, of course...

Door on the right..

Rack is about filled up..

So is the left side....even the "floor"

That be a Stanley No. 8, Type 7 sitting behind that short level..

May work on the Beater Brigade tomorrow,,,might try to make them into a set..looks wise....be a couple more weeks before the next project starts

Details of the Toy Box, if anyone wants?

Stay tuned..

Nice work on the restoration. I have some that need that treatment.

Can you show us the case with the glass door in picture 7 of your second post?

I need to make some plane storage that kind of shows off some planes.
...Naval Aviators, that had balz made of brass and the size of bowling balls, getting shot off the deck at night, in heavy seas, hoping that when they leave the deck that the ship is pointed towards the sky and not the water.

The Plane Til, new and Improved..

Uses plexiglass for the windows..

Made out of Pine.

Drawers to hold block planes and small parts.

Kind of a small shop...

Anymore, I open a door, get out the tool I need, and close the door back up...
